Next Boards
Managing projects usually means leaving Joomla for a separate online service: another login, another subscription per user, and your data on someone else's server. Teams that already run their site on Joomla want their task boards in the same place, under the same user accounts.
Next Boards puts a full Kanban tool inside Joomla. Create a board for each project, split it into stages, and drag cards from stage to stage as the work advances. A card holds everything about its task: a description, several assignees, due dates with reminders, labels, checklists, files, comments with @mentions, your own custom fields and its complete history.
The same board can be read as a Kanban board, a sortable List, a Calendar by due date or a Roadmap timeline. Workspaces group boards by team, and three levels of visibility decide who sees each one. Every user gets a private Inbox for quick notes, a Planner for their week and a My Tasks page across all boards. Rules, buttons and scheduled commands take over the routine steps. Next Boards works in the administrator and on the public side of your site, opens as a dedicated app on phones, and can be installed to keep working offline.

Getting Started
In the Joomla administrator under Components → Next Boards. To use it on your site as well, add a menu item of type Next Boards → Boards.
No. Next Boards uses your Joomla users. There is no limit on the number of users or boards.
Click New board, pick a template, give it a title and click Create board. You are the board's owner and admin.
Permissions & Teams
Board and workspace membership decide which boards a user sees and whether they can edit them. Site permissions grant a few site-wide capabilities, such as creating boards or administering every board.
Yes. Keep the board private and add the person to it. To let a client read without changing anything, add them as an observer.
Yes. A role can be given to individual users or to Joomla user groups.

They are deleted with it, after a confirmation. To keep them, archive the stage instead; it can be restored with its cards.
